Kindness Week - November 12-15, 2024

Tec-Voc’s Youth in Philanthropy (YiP) Committee presents Kindness Week - November 12th - 15th!  

Think Green, Act Gold, Be a Hornet is not just a motto, they’re words to live by to make the world a better place.  Next week, our focus is acting gold and being a Hornet and celebrating kindness at Tec-Voc and in our community.  Sprinkle kindness like confetti.

The week will be filled with kindness activities that include:

-  November 12th - Thank You Cards:  Write a thank you card and have the YiP Committee deliver them. Make your own or choose a design!!

- November 13th (and 14th and maybe 15th)  - Friendship Bracelet Making :  Embrace kindness and make friendship bracelets for $1.50 with the coolest beads around!

- November 14th (and 15th) - Kindness Rocks!:    Paint rocks with kindness to put around the school and community to spread kindness!!!

- November 15th  -  Smile for Lemonade! :  In honour of National Philanthropy Day,  flash a smile and receive a free cup of lemonade courtesy of the YiP Committee!

The week will also feature:

- Bestie Lunch:  Enter to win Lunch with a Friend, in our FREE raffle

- Selfies in our Kindness Photo Booth

- FREE Kindness Stickers
