Accessing Learning Online

SeeSaw Icon.pngSeeSaw is an electronic portfolio that allows students and teachers to document ongoing learning. The application also allows parents to see all posts and participate in the learning conversation.

For students while they are at home, this video (LINK) explains the process of getting connected to SeeSaw. Teachers have shared the home learning codes to access each classroom account.

Teachers at Robert H. Smith use many of the apps included in Google Workspace for Education (LINK), especially Google Classroom. Contact the classroom teacher for the username and password.

Technology Education

We are committed to preparing our students for diverse paths and careers after they have completed their primary and secondary education. Through inquiry and innovative approaches, we are engaging learners with new and improved ways of thinking and doing that empower our students to be successful in a dynamic world. Students will be better skilled to D.A.N.C.E (Discover, Ask, Nurture, Create and Educate). Students are challenged to develop strong critical thinking, creative thinking, communication, collaboration and digital citizenship skills.

Teachers and students have access to a laptop cart as well as ipad carts. Each classroom, as well as the gym, performing arts room and library, is equipped with a smartboard and a projector. Technology is embedded in regular classroom practices.
