School Registration Information

Winnipeg School Division is accepting student applications for the 2024/2025 school year. This will only apply to resident students new to WSD or transferring to another school within division.  

Please fill out the Student Application for Registration form, print and sign and then email them directly to the school.

All applications for resident students will only be accepted conditionally until all documentation confirming the information below has been received.

If you are unable to print or scan the forms, please contact the school via email at jbmitchell@wsd1.org or by phone at 204-488-4517. Schools are checking emails on a daily basis.  

Students new to WSD or transferring within WSD will also need to provide who are Canadian citizens:

  • Birth certificate
  • Manitoba Health Card
  • Proof of address, either your most recent property tax assessment or rental agreement

  • If you are a permanent resident please provide the above as well as your PR card or document

  • If you are a temporary resident please provide the above as well as the items listed below:
  • Work or study permits for both parents and child
  • Passports for both parents and child

Non-Resident Students:

This is for families that live outside of the Winnipeg School Division.  Please contact the school directly as Schools of Choice guidelines apply as per the Winnipeg School Division Policy JEC - School Admissions/Schools of Choice. Acceptance is based on numerous factors including program and grade request, space availability and class size. 

Non-resident students must fill out a Non-Resident Student Application Form AND a Student Application for Registration Form.
