RELATIONSHIPS OF STAFF TO STUDENTS AND STUDENTS TO STUDENTS We aim to support every student in becoming engaged, confident, inspired, and successful in achieving their program goals. Our International Education Support Teacher supports students directly in their schools with academic and social support. Students receive information to become involved in the school community and participate in all its activities to develop friendships with Canadians. We organize monthly field trips and activities outside the school to enrich their experience in this part of Canada.
	OUR SIZE Every year, our program warmly welcomes over 100 international students! Our team takes great pride in getting to know each student personally, creating a close-knit community that feels like a home away from home within the larger Winnipeg School Division Community. By maintaining a close connection with our students, we can respond to their needs quickly.
OUR SEASONS Winnipeg is a city that offers a unique experience with its four distinct seasons - winter, spring, summer, and fall. 	WSD INTERNATIONAL HOMESTAY PROGRAM We manage our own Homestay Program, which provides agents with a single point of contact to manage student accommodations. Our program assures that WSD Homestay families are carefully selected and participate in mandatory training. Our Homestay Administrator is always meeting students to reinforce positive relationships with families and to solve any challenges.

We want you to feel confident that we are always available to assist you, even if we do not have an immediate answer to your question.
