Peace Tree

March 25, 2021

Clifton Kids and the Clifton Community exemplify generosity and caring about others. We support a foster child in Africa and many charities throughout the year.

Reuben Boulette, an Aboriginal artist painted a life size mural of a tree on the main pillar in our main hallway in 2011. Since that time each new child at Clifton School is given a ceramic leaf to place on the branches of our indoor “Peace Tree”. The leaf symbolizes each child’s sense of belonging and is a concrete representation of his/her commitment to being a Clifton Kid.

Throughout the school year
we celebrate all cultures at Clifton School. The Seven Teachings of Respect, Courage, Honesty, Wisdom, Humility, Love and Truth are Aboriginal Teachings that exist in all cultures. Clifton Kids learn about and practice these teachings throughout the year. IMG_3291.JPG
