Volunteers

November 3, 2021

Clifton School encourages parents and members of the community to volunteer their time and talent in a variety of different ways to expand our children's learning opportunities.

We have a large number of regular volunteers who help out at school each year. They make an invaluable contribution to our school. Each September, parents and community residents who are interested, indicate the type of volunteer activity in which they wish to take part. They are then trained by the Winnipeg School Division's Volunteer Coordinator. Volunteers are involved in:

  • Library Program
  • Classroom Program
  • Resource Program
  • Information and Communication Technology Program
  • Extra-Curricular Activities
  • Field Trips
  • Class Projects
All volunteers must register with the Volunteer Coordinator at the school. The Winnipeg School Division requires a Criminal Record Search and a Child Abuse Registry Search. These forms are processed and paid for by the Winnipeg School Division for parent and guardian volunteers.

Volunteers are asked to sign in each day that they volunteer. A sign-in sheet is located in the office.
