Conflict Managers

We are excited to relaunch our Conflict Manager program this year. Every recess, trained Conflict Managers work to support students in solving their recess issues. We believe that students are responsible people who can solve their own problems.
At Earl Grey, Conflict Managers are specially trained students in Grade five and six. These students undergo two full days of training in September to learn strategies to help other students solve problems that happen during recess.
Conflict Managers work with a partner to patrol the playground. They can be easily identified by their lime green vests and clipboards.
This program is part of our Leadership Development, we are proud of the students who chose to participate this year.
