Anywhere Anytime Learning

July 22, 2022

The Department of Education in partnership with school divisions and Public Health ensure that as the risk level across regions of the province changes, schools are able to adapt. This may mean remote learning when the risk level increases whether at the classroom, school, or regional level. Schools are planned for scenarios that include moving to remote learning, and if risk level were to rise again, the system will look at ensuring there are alternatives for students and families for continued learning options.

This 'Anywhere Anytime Learning' tab is here to support families with important information regarding our school's online learning plan. Please remember to keep your child home if they are symptomatic to reduce the risk.

We thank you for your support.

If a remote learning situation were to occur, all students are expected to be learning remotely as per guidelines. The exception to this are Nursery to Grade 9 students of essential critical workers and children who have special needs.

Public health recommendations for masks may be adjusted for this response level and should be monitored.

School buses may be operating.

Directives from Manitoba Education and guidelines approved by public health officials will provide any additional guidance.

We will continue using the following platforms to support students online learning should we require to move to a remote learning situation.

  • Student emails are required (Teachers will advise)
  • Nursery to Grade 3: SeeSaw, Dreambox, Microsoft Teams, Zoom
  • Grade 4 to 9: Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, Zoom
  • Whole School online meetings: Microsoft Teams, Google Classroom, Zoom
  • Parent Council Meetings: Zoom

In Being Prepared:
*A "Permission Click" survey will go to parents/guardians to learn what the technology needs would be, if we were to go to remote learning.
