The project supports students in the Big Picture Learning program through weekly mentorship circles. Students will engage in creative exploration rooted in Treaty Education, Indigenous worldview and personal storytelling, and through OMAZINIBII'IGEG Artist Collective, strenghtening connections and fostering learning and artistic growth. Pathway to Belonging: A Collaborative Mosaic Installation at Clifton School

Funding for this project will support an art installation at Clifton School. The title of the installation is Pathway to Belonging, partnering with artist Dimitry Melman. The project engages students in a collaborative artistic process fostering creativity. The pathway serves as both a physical and symbolic link between the school and the community, reflecting the school's core values: belonging, play and critical thinking. Funding supports the collaborative mural design celebrating Métis culture, enriching cultural education and community building, with visual arts teacher, Kyle Hoydalo and Métis Artist Nadya Crossman-Serb. Funding for this project will support and promote cultural understanding through Woodland Art, support Truth and Reconciliation education, enhance student creativity, collaboration and engagement. This project is led by artist Justine Proulx and will involve hands-on instruction in Woodland Art techniques with students who will participate in the design and creation of a Mural. Carpathia Library Rejuvenation Project

Funding will support the update to Carpathia's library, to create a vibrant and inclusive library, where every student feels comfortable and inspired to read and learn. The school plans are to introduce an assortment of seating areas ranging from comfortable nooks to flexible soft seating. Funding is supplies/materials not available in school.
David Livingstone
Music Therapy

Funding will support a trained music therapist. David Livingstone will schedule 16 sessions with the music therapist to work with students. Music therapy uses a multi-sensory approach to teaching children. Music therapy can can help develop body awareness, selfregulation, attention and stress management, motor and cooperating skills. Funding is Fee for Service.
Machray
Technology for Machray STEM Lab

Funding will support the development of the STEM lab at Machray School. The STEM lab will provide students new ways to learn through creative, collaborative and hands on activities. Machray is at the beginning stages of devleopment of the lab, and will require technology and supplies. Funding is supplies not available in school.
