Lunch ProgramJune 21, 2022
Welcome parents/guardians to the 2020-2021 school year.
There are a few changes to the lunch program this year. We have the form available online for you to print and bring to the school.
Members of PAC will be set up outside in front of the school on Sept. 2nd and 3rd beginning at 2:30 – 3:30pm to take in registration forms. During the first week of school. (Sep 8, 9 & 10) ALL children staying at lunch time (whether full-time or occasionally) MUST be registered in the program. Fees MUST be submitted by the first of every month for children to be allowed to stay for lunch. The Clifton School Parent Council Lunch Program is available for all students from Grade 1 – 6.
There is a new payment option for the lunch program. We now accept E-transfer for your lunch program fees as well as for the new milk cards that are now available.
Parents or guardians of students who purchase milk at lunch time will now have the option to purchase a "Milk Card". Milk cards will be kept in the classroom with the lunch room supervisor. You can purchase more milk cards at any time as needed. Students will still have the ability to bring quarters to pay for milk as they have in the past.
PAC is currently looking for parents or guardians to join our group. We need to fill a couple positions including secretary and treasurer. The annual general meeting to vote members into PAC is Sep 16, 2020 at 5pm. This is the only time members can be added to PAC. Anyone looking for more information can contact us directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Our official first PAC meeting will be Sep 30, 2020 at 5 pm.
We look forward to working with you this school year.

Lunch Program Guidelines
The Clifton School Lunch Program will operate under the school’s Code of Conduct. The following expectations are specific to the lunch program.
1. Permission slips or phone calls are appreciated if a child will not be at school for lunch;
2. Students will stay on school property during the lunch hour;
3. Students must have permission to leave the lunch room;
4. Students are expected to eat their lunch and handle their own food and containers carefully; and
5. Cooperation is expected from all students.
On occasion an incident will arise when a child must be reminded of the expectations. Parents will be contacted by the lunch program supervisors for minor incidents and by the chairperson for more serious incidents.
PLEASE NOTE: Prompt payment of lunch program fees is appreciated. Payment is due by the end of the month when the statement is issued. If payment has not been received by the end of the second month, parents will be contacted and lunch privileges may be withdrawn.
*Parents/Guardians must ensure that all epi-pens and medical information are kept up to date.
