School Registration Information
January 22, 2024
Laura Secord School will be accepting student applications for the 2024/2025 school year beginning February 2nd 2024. Registration will begin at 9:00 am and can be done in person or via email to las@wsd1.org.
The following documentation is required to complete the registration process:
- The Student Application for Registration form
- Your Manitoba Medical Card listing the child and parent(s) name
- Proof of residency (Property Tax Bill, Rental/Lease agreement, Accepted offer to purchase with possession date indicated, etc.)
- Your child's Birth Certificate or Canadian Passport
- A signed copy of the Nursery Residency Policy letter if registering for the Nursery Program
*Please ensure all copies are clear and legible if they're being submitted via email.

Non-Resident Students:
Please contact the school directly as Schools of Choice guidelines apply as per the Winnipeg School Division Policy JEC - School Admissions/Schools of Choice. Acceptance is based on numerous factors including program and grade request, space availability and class size.
Non-resident students must fill out a Non-Resident Student Application Form AND a Student Application for Registration Form.
