3rd Annual Paint Run

Students and staff recently participated in our annual paint run as a part of our school’s running club program. The paint run is in its 3rd year and is one of many special events for our school’s running club.

Students ran laps around the school building wearing light coloured clothing. They were showered with non-toxic coloured paint at stations along the run. The further they ran, the more paint they are showered with meaning that at the end of the race the more colourful the runner.

This particular special event is scheduled later in the season as a reward for the effort members have put into their training. There were over 100 students participating in this year’s paint run.

Thanks to all the staff volunteers who helped make the special run a success and a huge thanks to Mme. Bruce for her continued leadership in promoting healthy active living at École Garden Grove School.
