Information Technology Services

Information Services manages the technology systems, infrastructure, devices, security, and data management that support learning and daily operations across Winnipeg School Division.

The department is organized into three service areas:

• IT Operations manages and implements computer networks, digital systems, and technical infrastructure used throughout Winnipeg School Division.
• IT Service Delivery provides hardware repairs and upgrades across the division and supports staff and students with account and technical assistance through the IT Service Desk and on-site support.
• IT Security protects divisional systems, networks, and student information from cybersecurity threats while promoting safe and responsible technology use.

IT Services helps ensure students and staff can use reliable and secure digital tools in schools and divisional buildings. The IT Service Desk is the central point of contact for staff and students who need technical assistance. It supports technology issues affecting teaching, learning, and daily operations at WSD
