Safe SchoolsApril 26, 2021
A variety of programs are offered to ensure that our schools are safe and caring communities. A team of administrators, co-ordinators, advisors and consultants provides direction support to administrators, staff, parents, students and community.
The focus of these programs strengthens our schools in the following areas:
- Building safe and caring school communities
- Understanding violence and violence prevention
- Ensuring compliance with the Winnipeg School Division Code of Conduct and Safe Schools Act
Code of Conduct

The Winnipeg School Division believes the safety and security of staff and students is a major priority. The Safe School Communities Initiatives fact sheet provides an overview of the initiatives that have been developed by the Division to address the issue of safety in our schools.
