Come in to Speak in Michif
Language Teacher: John Sobkovich
Learn to speak the language of the Métis people. This six-week introduction workshop will prepare learners to understand and speak in Southern Michif. This is a dialect of Michif consisting of mostly French nouns and Cree verbs, which is spoken throughout the Métis Nation Homeland.
The workshop is free, and open to community, students, and staff, but space is limited.
It is also highly recommended that learners attend all sessions.
