Literacy Support

My name is Ms. Valentim and I am the Literacy Support Teacher at Robertson School. My role involves collaborating with teachers to promote the learning and implementation of literacy instruction in the classroom, as well as working with students in small groups or one to one, to improve their literacy skills.  

While working with students I provide direct support and specific learning intervention that responds to their individual strengths and also addresses areas of literacy in the form of reading, writing and phonics. The goal is to provide students with a strong foundation in literacy, to support them in reaching their full potential as readers and writers, which leads to success in other areas of learning.
