School Bus Drivers

School bus drivers in WSD must have a Class 2 License and School Bus Operators Certificate and WSD’s Transportation Department will provide paid training for suitable applicants who hold a Class 5 license and a clear driver’s abstract for the past five years.
Positions are part-time (10 month) placements. WSD has competitive pay starting at $26.83 an hour in your first year, plus pension and excellent benefits.
In WSD, school bus drivers ensure the safe and orderly transportation of students to and from school. In addition to doing your daily route, you will also safely transport students to and from other school related activities during the school day.
School bus drivers are the first school person some students see each day. Your kind supervision, pleasant manner and safe driving make you a role model for the students on your bus.
