Patrols serving the community

In 2022, there were approximately 6,000 school patrols in Winnipeg, all working hard to ensure students arrived safely to their schools.

Members of the Winnipeg Police Service (WPS) select the top patrol teams citywide each year. The constables make their selections based on patrol teams’ performance while on duty.

This year, WSD’s École Victoria-Albert School captured first place citywide, earning the CAA Manitoba Trophy. The school also captured first place in WSD’s Inner City Patrol Division.

Congratulations to all of our patrols who served their communities this school year. You have helped to make our neighbourhoods safer.
