The project supports student learning in the field of instrumental music. With service providers running clinics designed according to student needs, AMVC students will have the opportunity to learn, improve, develop an appreciation of music, and meet professionals including a guest conductor. The project supports student learning in Performing Arts. Students in Grades 4 to 6 have an opportunity to take part in the school musical, within many areas of the production, including performances, stagehands, costume and set designers. Grosvenor School Commenorative Mosaic
Funding for this project will support work with Artist, Dimitry Melman Komar, in creating a commemorative 100th Birthday mosaic art installation at Grosvenor School. Student learning in the Arts will be the focus and will also support the collaborative and creativity between the Artist, students, staff, families, and community members. Niji Mahkwa School

Niji Mahkwa Dreams Storyteller
The project supports the TRC by developing culturally appropriate curricula, building student capacity in intercultural understanding, empathy, and mutual respect though storytelling. Artist and Storyteller, Jamie Oliviero, will work with Nursery to Grade 8 students, through storytelling, promoting building capacity among students and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. Students in Nursery to Grade 8 will have the opportunity to meet Artist Jamie Oliviero and engage in Indigenous ways of learning. Funding is Artists' Fees/Guest Speaker.

Truth & Reconciliation-Stories of Resilience and Perserverance
The project supports student learning and further understanding of Truth and Reconciliation with authentic stories and connections, shared by Elders. A “Truth and Reconciliation Week” is being developed at Kelvin and students will have the opportunity to participate in various events, hear and share stories with Elders, and make cultural connections with role models. The event will end with a march to the memorial and site of the former Assiniboia Residential School. Funding is Artists’ Fees/Guest Speaker and Supplies not available in school.

Venture to Vegreville Alberta
Funding for the project will support Grade 7 and 8 students in the English-Ukrainian Bilingual Program at Ralph Brown School, with the opportunity to travel and experience a 4-day cultural learning event, other than in a classroom. Students at Ralph Brown School will join other Manitoba English-Ukrainian students, in partnership with MPUE (Manitoba Parents for Ukrainian Education), on the trip to Vegreville. The excursion will enhance and support student learning beyond the curriculum, offering an enriching experience to practice their language skills and develop a deeper understanding of Ukrainian Heritage. The project supports student learning through the Arts, Indigenous culture, and Literacy. Land-Based Learning and Canoe Trip
The project highlights both cultural learning and outdoor education. Funding supports a trip outside the city limits and activities within the community. Students will be provided with learning and teaching from community Elders and Knowledge Keepers within their local community and on the banks of the Red River. Student learning will include Science, Social Studies and ESD with Indigenous perspectives and practices. Student will also have the opportunity to learn skills in canoe making and take part in a canoe trip in the Lake of the Woods. The project will expose students to land knowledge, infusing Indigenous perspectives and teachings. Student learning will integrate Education for Sustainable Development, History and Science. Led by experts from the Wilder Adventure Company, the programming will afford students the opportunity to be out and, on the land, and develop an appreciation and a connection to it. Students will learn activities associated with outdoor living, such as setting a camp, navigating trails, learn the value and significance of fire, and will come to learn the importance of protecting the land. Yoga for Kids
Funding for this project will help improve the fitness levels of students as they strengthen their bodies and improve their coordination. The “Yoga for Kids” program uses a multi-sensory approach to teaching children and yoga also helps with body awareness, self-regulation, attention, stress management, motor planning and cooperative learning skills. The program is highly recommended by Occupational therapists who work with students to increase physical fitness, enhance the physical and wellbeing of participants, and create an interest in yoga. Animal Assisted Education/Pet Therapy 
Funding for this project will help to foster positive student mental health and wellness. The project will allow opportunities for students to interact with a therapy dog/animals and help reduce anxiety, build capacity and build empathy. In conjunction to the school therapist facilitation group, a behaviour assessed therapy dog will be attending once every other cycle for 8 sessions. Benefits of AAE (Animal Assisted Education) include increased positive behaviours, decrease in stress and anxiety, and increase in self confidence. Funding for this project will support a Mental Health & Wellness After School Program. Students will have an opportunity to join the program, where students can explore and open their minds to new and different experiences, change their mindset and learn about their mental health. The program will offer activities such as yoga, meditation, cooking, knitting, cycling, boxing, medicine picking, smudging, etc. Students will also be given a journal to document their experiences to determine how students are feeling and what path they would like to take in their journey.
