Aboriginal Youth Leadership Program

On Wednesday November 18, 2015 the Aboriginal Youth Leadership Program (AYLP) had the opportunity to attend the Winnipeg Aboriginal Film Festival (WAFF) at the Adam Beach Film Institute here in Winnipeg. The studies viewed films, met with other students from the divisions program, were treated to a pizza lunch and got to see and meet keynote speaker Ashley Callingbull who was crowed Mrs. Universe 2015 back in August. Mrs. Universe is an inspiration to many and gives hope to the future of indigenous people in Canada.
