This month in Room 6, we learned about road safety. Students explored the traffic signals in our community and learned how to identify intersections with traffic lights. During our community walk, they observed that a red light means stop, a yellow light means slow down, and a green light means go.
In Reading, students are continuing to build their literacy skills by reading books and practicing Reading Eggs. They are also developing their spelling and writing skills through a variety of engaging activities.
In Math, students have been strengthening their number skills through hands-on activities using manipulatives to help them add digits together and deepen their understanding of addition.
In Science, students are exploring the characteristics of the fall season, learning about changes in weather, plants, and animals during this time of year.
In Art, students had a great time creating fun and spooky Halloween crafts to celebrate the season!
Looking ahead to November, we will continue building students’ reading and writing skills and keep learning about the fall season.
