Thank you to all the adults who were able to connect for our Parent-Teacher conferences this term. It was wonderful to get the chance to share with you the gains your child has made and the positive work they have done this term. If we were not able to connect please phone the school and we can reschedule for a time that works best for everyone. 

We are getting very busy preparing for the Winter Concert. The theme this year is It’s Snow Much Fun and it is going to be a fun time for all. The show this year will be held on December 17 with a performance in the afternoon and the evening. We are working hard to prepare our performance and looking forward to seeing you all there.

In Science we are continuing to study the ocean. We have become fascinated by coral reefs; it is pretty incredible how they grow and change. We have been talking about the importance of protecting them. We are also beginning a research project on an ocean animal. Keep your eyes out for those. We will be bringing them home before the winter break. 

We are almost finished our novel Wonder. We have LOVED it!!! It really is a fantastic book and we have been having some great discussions while we are reading it. Today we were writing about one of the quotes in the book. “Always try to be a little kinder than is necessary.” What a wonderful quote to try and love by.
