Congratulations to our grade 4-6 Choir who performed at the Winnipeg Choir Festival on March 6th and won a Silver Medal placing! Thank you to Ms. Vigier who runs the choir program over the lunch hours and continues to practice with student for various upcoming performances. Looking forward to hearing what they have in store next!

We are pleased to once again offer Choir Club for grade 4-6 students during the Thursday noon hours led by Mrs. Vigier, students develop their singing voices and practice for the special events such as Remembrance Day services or Grade 6 Farewell. Students may also participate in choral competitions later on in the year as well as be involved in other choir activities. Please watch for more information later on in the year.

CHORAL CELEBRATION

The Elementary Choral Celebration (formerly known as Honour Choir) welcomed the return of students from several schools in the Winnipeg School Division to perform for parents/guardians once again in person. The long day of rehearsals ended with a tremendous performance by the choir. Students were selected from each school by music teachers to attend the celebration. Students, Manmeet, Hitesh, Savreen and Francheska from grades 5 & 6, were selected to perform based on their vocal skills, attitudes and commitment to rehearsals. We would also like to thank Mrs. Vigier for her continued dedication to the music program and extra-curricular music clubs.
