First of all, I would like to thank all family members who attended parent-teacher conferences. Whether in-person or by phone call, it was great to speak and celebrate your child’s progress with all of you. This month has been full of learning and exciting activities in our Grade 2/3 classroom! In Social Studies, we explored the importance of Remembrance Day, learning about its history, remembering people who are important to us, and reflecting on all we have to be grateful for in our lives. In Math, we are continuing to build our skills in addition and subtraction, practicing strategies that help us solve problems with confidence. We also had the opportunity to lead a school assembly on pet safety. The students did a wonderful job-sharing important tips on how to stay safe and care for animals responsibly. We’re proud of all the hard work students have been doing and look forward to another great month of learning!
